There is a limit of 20 Eligible Flights for this Promotion. For example, if an Eligible Velocity Member takes 4 Eligible Flights during the Promotion Period, they will receive a total of 4,250 bonus Points. A return flight booking would be considered as two Eligible Flights, and Velocity members would receive the bonus Points earn based on the number of flights taken during the Promotion Period. An Eligible Flight which has a connection (e.g. MEL – SYD – BNE) would be considered two Eligible Flights and bonus Points would be allocated based on the number of flights taken during the Promotion Period. The Promotion is for new Eligible Flights booked and ticketed during the Promotion Period, any changes to existing bookings made prior to the Promotion Period are not eligible. You should allow up to 4 weeks after completion of travel for the bonus Velocity Points to be allocated to your Velocity Frequent Flyer account. A. General
1. The terms of this document, information on how to enter this Promotion, mechanics of entry and the Prize/s form part of the terms and conditions for entry into this Promotion (Conditions). Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions by each Entrant.
2. The Promotion commences at 12:01 am AEST on 4 April 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm AEST on 30 June 2025 (Promotion Period).
3. The Promoter is Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd (ACN 601 408 824) of registered address 275 Grey St, South Brisbane QLD 4101 (Promoter).
4. Entry is open to Australian residents, aged 18 years and over who during the Promotion Period:
a. are a valid current or new Velocity Frequent Flyer member; and
b. activates the Corporate Points Million Bonus Points Promotion offer via the personalised link received directly from Velocity (Bonus Points Promotion) (Entrants). Entrants that participate in the Bonus Points Promotion agree to the Terms and Conditions for the Bonus Points Promotion, which can be viewed on the Velocity Frequent Flyer Promotion landing page.
5. The directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and agencies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter this Promotion. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
B. Entry
6. An Entrant will automatically be entered into the Promotion, if an Entrant, during the Promotion Period, participates in the Bonus Points Promotion and purchases five (5) or more Eligible Flights under the Bonus Points Promotion. If there are no Entrants who meet this entry requirement within the Promotion Period, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, enter Entrants who purchase a lesser number of Eligible Flights (i.e. Entrants who purchase four (4) eligible flights, or if none are available, Entrants who purchase three (3) eligible flights and so on) into the draw for a chance to win the Prize (defined below).

7. For clarity, to qualify for entry, Entrants must have earned the requisite number of bonus points from the stipulated flights only as part of the Bonus Points Promotion, not through other means. For example, Velocity Frequent Flyer members may also earn base points or tier bonuses (for Silver, Gold, or Platinum members), but these will not count toward the bonus points threshold required to enter.
8. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period.
9. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Illegible, incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, interruption, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, or unauthorised access to, or otherwise including those entries not received by the Promoter.
10. If any Entrants do not wish to participate in the Promotion, they can email competition@velocityfrequentflyer.com and provide their full name and Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number to be removed from the Promotion.
11. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website and entering the Promotion remain the Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used.
12. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.
C. Drawing Winners
13. This is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the Winner(s).
14. The draw will be conducted on 08 July 2025 at 9:00am at Anisimoff Legal at Level 3/162 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. All decisions of the Promoter are final, and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into by the Promoter. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible Entrant is drawn.
15. The Winner (defined below) will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the draw and their details (first initial, last name and postcode) will be published on the Velocity Frequent Flyer Promotion landing page on 11 July 2025.
16. If a Prize is not claimed within three (3) months of the draw, a redraw will occur. A draw for any unclaimed Prizes may take place on 07 October 2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
17. A redrawn Winner, if any, will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the re-draw. The name of any redrawn Winner will have their details (first initial, last name and postcode) published on the Velocity Frequent Flyer Promotion landing page on 10 October 2025.
18. Entries not fully complying with these Conditions of Entry may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these Conditions, the entry will be discarded and the relevant Prize will be re-awarded in accordance with the relevant clause of these Conditions as if the discarded entry had not been received.
19. By entering this Promotion, Entrants agree to be contacted in relation to this Promotion by the Promoter. Should an Entrant’s contact details change during the Promotion Period, it is the Entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to request that an Entrant or Winner provides proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a Prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a Winner cannot provide suitable proof, the Winner will forfeit the Prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
D. Prize
21. There is one (1) prize to be won. The first valid entry drawn will win 1 Million Velocity Points (Prize). The Prize will be awarded to the Entrant named in the entry (Winner).
22. Total Prize value is AUD$25,257 (including GST). The Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by the Promoter. The Prize is not substitutable, exchangeable, transferrable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stated.
23. If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or that part of the Prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
24. The Velocity Points will be credited to the Winner’s account within 4 weeks of the end of the Promotion Period following acceptance of the Prize by the Winner.
25. Use of Velocity Points is subject to the Velocity Membership Terms and Conditions, which are located on the Velocity Frequent Flyer website at: https://www.velocityfrequentflyer.com/member-support/terms-conditions.
26. Velocity Points will be allocated to the Winner’s Velocity membership account only. Value is based on a sample of the Velocity Points options that could be obtained by redeeming the Prize through the Velocity Points program at the time of this Promotion. The estimate of value is provided for the purposes of licensing this Promotion only – the value of the Velocity Points will vary depending on how and when they are redeemed by the Winner through the Velocity Points program. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Velocity Points are not included. Any unused balance of the Velocity Points will not be awarded as cash.
27. The Prize may be redeemed for goods and services with an approximate value of $25,257 (including GST) in accordance with clauses 23 and 24 above.
28. Subject to the unclaimed Prize draw clause, if for any reason the Winner does not redeem the Prize (or an element of the Prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the Prize (or that element of the Prize) will be forfeited.
E. Privacy
29. The Promoter is collecting the Entrant’s personal information (PI) for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including providing any Prize to the Entrant. If the Promoter cannot collect the Entrant’s PI, the Entrant may not be able to enter the Promotion or if the Entrant is the Winner, the Entrant will not be able to receive the Prize. The Promoter may disclose the Entrant’s PI to persons or organisations located in overseas countries, as described in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (www.virginaustralia.com/privacy) also states how the Entrant can opt out, seek to access, update or correct the Entrant’s PI and how to make a privacy complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Entrant can contact the Virgin Australia Privacy Officer at privacy@virginaustralia.com.
30. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winner’s details (first initial, last name and postcode) published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter.
F. Intellectual Property
31. Each Entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter and agencies associated with the Promotion against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any Prize or participation in the Promotion including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property, except to the extent that such liability, cost, loss or expense is caused or contributed by the Promoter’s or its associated agency’s negligent or wrongful act.
32. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a Winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
G. Tax
33. The Promoter will not be liable for any tax liability, including without limitation income tax, fringe benefits tax, or any liability or loss of opportunity due to reportable fringe benefits, incurred by a Winner, an Entrant, their family, associates, employer and/or any other party due to participation in the Promotion or the receipt or the acceptance or use of any Prize.
34. Entrants and/or the Winner and/or any such relevant party will be required to pay any taxes and other airport related charges (including any applicable GST on those taxes and charges) which may be due on receipt or use of the Prize.
35. Entrants should seek independent financial advice to ensure they understand possible tax implications in relation to any tax liability and/or reportable fringe benefits before acceptance or use of a Prize.
36. The Promoter, its agents and/or associated entities do not accept responsibility for and makes no representations about any tax liability as a result of participating in the Promotion or from receiving or using the Prize.
H. Legal
37. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and in its sole discretion to:
a. disqualify any Entrant (and any of their entries) who the Promoter has reason to believe, tampered with the entry process, who submitted an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions, or who engaged in any unlawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Promotion; or
b. disqualify any Entrant (and any of their entries) who has, in the opinion of the Promoter, engaged in conduct when entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or the Promoter.
38. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a Winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the Winner and/or the Winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause. Any Entrant disqualified under this clause is prohibited from any further participation in the Promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
39. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
40. The Promoter, its agents and/or associate companies are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence), for any variation in the Prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry.
41. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the Entrant.
42. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion, or provide the/a Prize/s, on the dates and in the manner described in these Conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to any written directions given under relevant legislation.
43. If, for any reason, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to any written direction given under relevant legislation.
44. Nothing in these Conditions of Entry limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies (including their respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize/s.
45. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter and its associated entities (and their respective officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability for any direct, indirect or consequential injury, loss and/or damage arising in any way in connection with this Promotion or any Prize. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical difficulties, delays or failures or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control), including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this Promotion and any incorrect or inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this Promotion as a result of any technical difficulties, delays or failures or equipment malfunction; (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) late, lost, damaged or misdirected entries, Prize claims or Prize; (iv) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Conditions; (v) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant and (vi) acceptance and/or use of any Prize (including but not limited to any component of a Winner’s Prize).
