Industry specific earn rates may apply when you use a payment account, payment aggregator, services of a third party or online retailers that sell goods for another merchant. For example a payment made to Local Government bodies processed through a payment aggregator may earn rates at the government earn rate.

4. Employee Cards: Employee Card Members must be over 18 years of age. The Business and the Primary Card Member are jointly and severally liable for all Employee Card spending. Each employee is entitled to only one (1) Employee Card.

5. The insurance on American Express Cards is subject to terms, conditions and exclusions (such as maximum age limits, pre-existing medical conditions and cover limits). You must use your American Express Velocity Business Card to pay for your trip in order to be covered under the travel insurance and pay for eligible items for those items to be covered under the retail insurance benefits. It is important you read the American Express Velocity Business Card Insurance Terms and Conditions and consider whether the insurance is right for you. Economy Fares:
VA Fare Classes Y, B, W, H, K and L: 10%
VA Fare Classes R and E: 5%

8. Thrifty Car Hire Discount: Virgin Australia Business Flyer members will receive the following benefit from Thrifty on all bookings made via the Thrifty booking portal within the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal: a discount of 15-18% off the best base rate of the day on  www.Thrifty.com.au (that is, the rates on the Thrifty booking portal accessed via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal). The Thrifty Virgin Australia Business Flyer benefits and Points earn offers may change without notice and are subject to the Thrifty Business Partner Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time and Virgin Australia Business Flyer and Velocity Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.

9. Points Transfer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Account Administrators can transfer Points earned by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, provided that (a) there is a minimum of 3,000 Points per transfer; and (b) the Velocity Frequent Flyer member transferee is directly employed or contracted by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.

Pilot Gold: A new Virgin Australia Business Flyer member is eligible to receive two three-month Velocity Pilot Gold Memberships if, within the first three months of becoming a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, it books and completes at least $2,000 of eligible travel (excluding taxes, fees and charges).
