*Double Sign-up Bonus Points on the ENGIE Business Flyer Electricity Plan Terms & Conditions:

During the Offer Period, Velocity and ENGIE are offering double Velocity Points on the Sign-up Bonus Points (that’s 30,000 Velocity Points, which is double the standard earn rate of 15,000 Velocity Points) on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan for electricity (the Offer) for Virgin Australia Business Flyer members located in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria or South Australia (where ENGIE is an energy retailer for electricity) (Business Members).

Business Members must sign-up for the plan in accordance with the Terms and Conditions for the standard Velocity Points earn on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan, found here.

Note - Velocity Points will only be allocated upon a customer starting their energy supply with ENGIE on this Offer.

Velocity has partnered with ENGIE to offer Velocity Points on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan for Virgin Australia Business Flyer members located in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria or South Australia* (Business Members).

*Note: the ENGIE Business Flyer plan is not available in all areas. All references in these terms and conditions to Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria or South Australia are references to the parts of Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria or South Australia where ENGIE is an energy retailer for electricity and/or gas.

New and existing ENGIE Business Flyer customers can earn:

  • 30,000 Velocity Points for electricity with ENGIE in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia*; and/or
  • 5,000 Velocity Points for gas with ENGIE in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia*

if, the business customer:

  • signs up to the ENGIE Business Flyer plan and becomes billable; and
  • is a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, provides their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership ID (i.e., their business’ ABN) at the time of signing-up for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan, or signs up to Virgin Australia Business Flyer at the time of signing up for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan and their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership is subsequently approved;
  • provides ENGIE with a valid email address which the business customer controls and can access; and
  • is on a small business tariff as assigned by their distribution network.

Velocity Points will be credited to a Business Member’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer account for the Sign-up Bonus Points within 5 business days of ENGIE starting to supply energy on the relevant Offer.

A Business Member will only be eligible to receive their Sign-up Bonus Points if they:

  • have a current Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership; and
  • are a current ENGIE customer on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan which is linked to their Virgin Australia Business Flyer account.

If the Business Member ceases to hold a Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership, their Virgin Australia Business Flyer account is not linked to their ENGIE Business Flyer Plan or is not an ENGIE customer on an ENGIE Business Flyer plan prior to the Velocity Points being credited for the Sign-up Bonus Points, the Business Member will forfeit the Velocity Points from the Sign-up Bonus Points.

^New and existing ENGIE Business Flyer customers can earn:

  • 3 Velocity Points per $1 paid to and received by ENGIE (including any GST, value added tax, sales tax or similar taxes) for electricity;
  • 2 Velocity Points per $1 paid to and received by ENGIE (including any GST, value added tax, sales tax or similar taxes) for gas;

if the ENGIE business customer:

  • is a current ENGIE business customer on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan; and
  • is a current Virgin Australia Business Flyer member and has provided their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership ID (i.e., their business’ ABN) at the time of signing-up for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan, or signed up for a Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership at the time of signing up for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan and their Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership was subsequently approved; and
  • provides ENGIE with a valid email address which the business customer controls and can access 

Velocity Points will be credited for the Ongoing Earn each time the Business Member pays a bill for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan and within 5 business days of ENGIE receiving payment from the Business Member.

The Business Member’s Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership and ENGIE Business Flyer plan must both be in place and linked on the date on which the Velocity Points are credited for the Ongoing Earn.

If the Business Member ceases to hold a Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership, their Virgin Australia Business Flyer account is not linked to their ENGIE Business Flyer plan or is no longer an ENGIE business customer on the ENGIE Business Flyer plan, the Business Member will not be eligible for the Ongoing Earn and no further Velocity Points will be credited for the Ongoing Earn.

The ENGIE Business Flyer plan is issued and supplied by IPower Pty Ltd (ACN 111 267 228) and IPower 2 Pty Ltd (ABN 24 070 374 293), trading as ENGIE ABN 67 269 241 237 and is subject to ENGIE’s Agreement Terms contained in a business customer’s Welcome Pack and these Terms and Conditions. If there is an inconsistency between the ENGIE Agreement Terms and these Terms and Conditions, the ENGIE Agreement Terms will take precedence.

Velocity Frequent Flyer Pty Ltd ABN 60 601 408 824 provides the Velocity Points for the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program. A Business Member’s membership in the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program is subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time.

Velocity is not the seller or supplier of the ENGIE Business Flyer plan, is not responsible for the ENGIE Business Flyer plan and is not authorised to negotiate or sell energy on behalf of ENGIE.

Business Members are required to contact ENGIE directly for any enquiries or for more information about the ENGIE Business Flyer plan or any other electricity or gas services issued and/or supplied by ENGIE.

ENGIE does not provide and is not responsible for the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program.

Business Members are required to contact Virgin Australia or Velocity (as applicable) for any enquiries relating to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program or redemption of Velocity Points.

  • ENGIE collects and handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  • Velocity collects and handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

ENGIE and Velocity reserve the right to:

  • change this offer or terms and conditions or withdraw this offer at any time; or
  • revoke or prevent allocation of any Velocity Points if either party suspects a breach of these terms and conditions, the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Program Terms and Conditions, ENGIE’s Agreement Terms including its Terms and Conditions, or if either party suspects that Velocity Points have been obtained fraudulently or illegally.
  • Velocity Points do not have cash value and cannot be converted to cash or refunded.

1. Earning Points with Virgin Australia Business Flyer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Points from completed travel on eligible flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia or marketed by Virgin Australia and operated by eligible airline partners, per annum, based on the rolling 12 month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer. Points aren’t earned on certain fees, taxes, or charges.  Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions  apply. 

2. United Airlines Business Discounts (UA Business Discounts): As at 1 November 2023, the following discounts apply to the United Airlines and Virgin Australia base fares (which excludes fees, carrier charges and taxes) of Virgin Australia marketed and United Airlines operated flights (with a VA flight number) booked by Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (Members), which may change without notice:

Business Fares:
VA Fare Class J, C and D: 10%

Economy Fares:
VA Fare Classes Y, B, W, H, K and L: 10%
VA Fare Classes R and E: 5%

Please check the Virgin Australia Business Flyer website for current discount levels. UA Business Discounts can only be booked through the Booking Portal, our Guest Contact Centre, or a registered Travel Management Company (TMC) or travel agent and are not available through the public Virgin Australia website. Fare advantage discounts: The Fare Advantage Discount of 4% applies to Flex fares (L, K, H, W, B, Y class) operated and marketed by Virgin Australia and 6% applies to Business Class fares (D, C, J class) operated and marketed by Virgin Australia, and is available to Virgin Australia Business Flyer members. The Fare Advantage Discount levels are subject to change without notice. 4. Thrifty Car Hire Discount: Virgin Australia Business Flyer members will receive the following benefit from Thrifty on all bookings made via the Thrifty booking portal within the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal: a discount of 15-18% off the best base rate of the day on  www.Thrifty.com.au (that is, the rates on the Thrifty booking portal accessed via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal).

5. Points Transfer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Account Administrators can transfer Points earned by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, provided that (a) there is a minimum of 3,000 Points per transfer; and (b) the Velocity Frequent Flyer member transferee is directly employed or contracted by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member. 

6. Pilot Gold: A new Virgin Australia Business Flyer member is eligible to receive two three-month Velocity Pilot Gold Memberships if, within the first three months of becoming a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, it books and completes at least $2,000 of eligible travel (excluding taxes, fees and charges).
