The Europcar Virgin Australia Business Flyer offering consists of:

o   A discount of at least 10 - 18% on car hire bookings made via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal or Rewards Portal

o   A discount of at least 20 - 40% on the cost of damage protection cover to reduce the damage excess amount, included with any bookings by members via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal or Rewards Portal.

o   Points earn on car rental as per the Virgin Australia Business Flyer tiers (see below).

o   Virgin Australia Business Flyer Members earn Velocity Points for their business via the Europcar booking, and if the driver is a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, then they can include their VFF number to earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points as well.
The Europcar earn rate relates to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer tier earn rate, as follows:

o   Tier 1 – 1 Point per $1 spend

o   Tier 2 – 1.5 Points per $1 spend

o   Tier 3 – 2 Points per $1 spend

If a valid Velocity Frequent Flyer number is also entered during the car booking process, the individual driver will also earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Points for the booking, according to the Velocity Frequent Flyer standard earn rate.
Yes. So long as the bookings are made via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Europcar link on either the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal or Rewards Portal.
Bookers, Travellers and Administrators.

Administrators can access the Europcar offering via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal and/or the Booking Portal. Bookers and Travellers can access the Europcar offering via the Booking Portal only.
Only bookings made via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Booking Portal will receive the Virgin Australia Business Flyer benefits.
No. Once a booking is confirmed, the ABN that is attached to the booking cannot be changed. If you need to change the ABN on a booking, we recommend cancelling your existing booking and making a new booking via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal or Rewards Portal.
If you booked a car and forgot to provide your Velocity Frequent Flyer number, simply present it when you collect your vehicle from Europcar car hire to earn Points.

Alternatively, if you are missing Velocity Frequent Flyer Points you can make a claim within 3 months of the eligible transaction. You can claim missing Points for an activity completed within the 30 days prior to joining Velocity Frequent Flyer.

If it has been more than 30 days since you returned your Europcar vehicle and you are missing eligible Points you can lodge a claim with Europcar by email: info@europcar.com.au
Yes. Virgin Australia Business Flyer members can transfer Points from their Virgin Australia Business Flyer account to the Velocity Frequent Flyer account of an individual Velocity Frequent Flyer member. Please note there is a minimum point transfer of 3,000 Velocity Points.

Once you have completed your online booking, Europcar will send you a confirmation email to the email address provided. This confirmation email will include your booking number, details of your pickup and return location, the estimated price of your booking, and other important information.

You agree for Europcar to share your redemption information with Virgin Australia Business Flyers as per the Europcar Privacy Policy.
Europcar standard age, credit card and driver requirements apply. An online reservation restriction of at least four hours prior to vehicle pick up applies.
Extra charges may apply to options you select, if you do not return the vehicle to the same pick up location or return the vehicle late, or if you do not return the vehicle full of fuel unless the prepaid fuel option is purchased, or if you incur infringements or use toll roads. Valid to all passenger vehicle classes, including prestige.
Rentals are allowed a 29 minute grace period, after which 1 full day’s charges (along with any applicable fees or optional coverages and equipment) will apply.
Standard passenger vehicles include unlimited kilometres on most passenger vehicles in metropolitan areas, 200km per day for rentals in Country areas and 100km per day in Remote areas. Rentals over 30 days may have KM restrictions.
For prestige vehicles 1-29 days 200 kms free per day, 30+ days 100 kms free per day with additional kilometres charged per kilometre.
Rentals valid for drivers 25+ years old. Renters 21-24 will incur an “Young Driver Fee”. Not all vehicles available to “Young Drivers”. Restrictions apply.

Virgin Australia Business Flyer

Virgin Australia Business Flyer members will be eligible for the following Europcar Points earn rate:
- Tier 1: 1 Point per AUD $1 (excluding GST) spent on car rental.

· To be eligible to earn Velocity Points for your business, the business must hold a current Virgin Australia Business Flyer membership in accordance with the relevant Virgin Australia Business Flyer and Velocity Terms & Conditions. To be eligible to earn Velocity Points via Europcar, the business must book through the Europcar booking portal that can be accessed via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal. Points will be awarded to the member’s account within 14 days after return of the vehicle.
In addition to Points earn Virgin Australia Business Flyer members will also receive the following benefits from Europcar on all bookings made via the Europcar booking portal within the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal:

Velocity Frequent Flyer

If the driver is also a member of Velocity Frequent Flyer and their Velocity membership number is added to the booking, they may earn Velocity Frequent Flyer Program Points in accordance with the Velocity member Terms & Conditions as amended from time to time.
Velocity Frequent Flyer members will not earn Points on contract rates, international wholesale rates, staff and industry rates, restricted rate plans, optional damage liability reduction, vehicle registration fee, premium location fee, admin fee, taxes, GST, one-way fees, age surcharges, additional driver fees and equipment such ski racks, baby/booster seats or GPS rental costs.
Points will be awarded to the Velocity Frequent Flyer member’s account within 6 weeks of return of the vehicle.
Velocity membership and Points earn is subject to the Velocity Member Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.

1. Earning Points with Virgin Australia Business Flyer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Points from completed travel on eligible flights marketed and operated by Virgin Australia or marketed by Virgin Australia and operated by eligible airline partners, per annum, based on the rolling 12 month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer. Points aren’t earned on certain fees, taxes, or charges.  Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions  apply.

2. United Airlines Business Discounts (UA Business Discounts): As at 1 November 2023, the following discounts apply to the United Airlines and Virgin Australia base fares (which excludes fees, carrier charges and taxes) of Virgin Australia marketed and United Airlines operated flights (with a VA flight number) booked by Virgin Australia Business Flyer members (Members), which may change without notice:

Economy Fares:

Thrifty Car Hire Discount: Virgin Australia Business Flyer members will receive the following benefit from Thrifty on all bookings made via the Thrifty booking portal within the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal: a discount of 15-18% off the best base rate of the day on www.Thrifty.com.au (that is, the rates on the Thrifty booking portal accessed via the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Rewards Portal or the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Booking Portal).

5. Points Transfer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Account Administrators can transfer Points earned by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member to a Velocity Frequent Flyer member, provided that (a) there is a minimum of 3,000 Points per transfer; and (b) the Velocity Frequent Flyer member transferee is directly employed or contracted by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.

6. Pilot Gold: A new Virgin Australia Business Flyer member is eligible to receive two three-month Velocity Pilot Gold Memberships if, within the first three months of becoming a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, it books and completes at least $2,000 of eligible travel (excluding taxes, fees and charges).
